P2006 MAZDA Variable Tumble Shutter Valve Stuck Closed

Possible causes
– Faulty VTC Shutter valve actuator (Stuck closed)
– Missconnecting or pull out the vacuum hose
– Faulty Variable tumble solenoid valve
– Variable tumble solenoid valve harness is open or shorted
– Variable tumble solenoid valve circuit poor electrical connection
Symptoms
– Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
P2006 MAZDA Description
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors mass the variable tumble shutter valve using the variable tumble position sensor. If the PCM turn the variable tumble solenoid valve OFF but the variable tumble position still remain closed (the variable tumble position sensor ON), the PCM determines that the variable tumble shutter valve has been stuck closed.
