Possible causes

– Faulty Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Motor
– Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Motor harness is open or shorted

When is the code detected?

The P2119 code is set when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects an error during ETC relearn at key on.

Symptoms

– Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
– No throttle pedal response
