Tech notes

For Volvo models the P0512 code could be triggered by the immobilizer system. The immobilizer system is not receiving the signal from the antenna ring, replacing the antenna ring and clear the code usually takes care of the problem.

Symptoms

– Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
– No or hard engine start situation
