Possible causes

– Low transmission fluid level
– Dirty transmission fluid
– Faulty 2/4 solenoid valve
– 2/4 solenoid valve harness is open or shorted
– 2/4 solenoid valve circuit poor electrical connection

When is the code detected?

The P0755 code is detected when TCM has detected a fault in the 2/4 Solenoid circuit

Symptoms

– Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
– Transmission will not shift gears.

P0755 JEEP Description

The 2/4 Solenoid is monitored at initially power-up, then every 10 seconds thereafter. The solenoids will also be tested immediately after a gear ratio or pressure switch error is detected.
